CLASSES and HAPPENINGS

You may enroll for classes, simply click the Register button and select your class.  Your reservation will be confirmed and materials list will be supplied once the class fees have been paid.   There are no refunds, unless someone on the waiting list takes your place.

Saturday classes are held at Sugar Grove Baptist Church in Dry Hill, TN.  The church has graciously allowed us to use their new Fellowship Hall, it sits on the lake and good natural light and a gorgeous view.  The class charge includes a donation to the church for use of the facilities, AND a catered lunch.

Weekday classes are held "at the shop".  These classes are free of charge, but are limited to 4 or 5, and it is strictly bring-your-own lunch.
PANEL PARTY and SHOWING of MRS. WINTERS QUILTS

Location:  Sugar Grove Baptist Church, Dry Hill, TN
Cost:  $20 for lunch and donation to the Church for sharing their gorgeous facility, class is free.

Wondering what to do with a panel?  These can be made into fun to make lap quilts.

Take any panel in your stash (or want to come by the shop for one of ours), add a few fabric to make simple pieced blocks and borders, and voila! you have your lap quilt.

As a bonus, Mrs. Winters will share her many years of quilts with us at 1 PM.

Kits will be available that include panel, accompanying fabrics for blocks, borders, and binding.  Call or come by the shop if you need a kit assembled or one built to match your panel.

Cost:  $20 for lunch and donation to the Church for sharing their gorgeous facility, class is free.

66 Degrees North?   The Arctic Circle to be precise.  Cath is headed to Iceland and this class will feature the quilts of Gudrun Erla, an Icelandic quilt designer.  She has been making quilts from 2 1/2" strips before Jelly Rolls every existed.

Learn the tricks to cutting precise 2 1/2" strips (a.k.a. Stripper Math), as well as Gurdun's "Stripology" technique.  The result will be one of Gudrun's fun quilts.  You have a choice of patterns shown below OR one of the quilts from her new Quilts of Iceland book.

Come by the shop and get a custom kit assembled.  Materials list will be supplied once the class fees have been paid.
